Our proposals on Sustainability:


# Make funding of adult stem cell research a priority within the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020 and ban the funding of research on human embryonic stem cells. Read more


# Review the EU Climate and Energy Package 2030 and reduce CO2 emissions by at least 55% below the 1990 level and set a stronger binding target for energy efficiency and renewables by 2030. Read more


# Make the system of direct payments to farmers simpler and transparent and link them to socio-economic and ecological criteria. Read more


# Reform the EU Emissions Trading System that envisages the reduction in the oversupply of emission allowances (so-called “backloading”). Read more
